This weekend ABacoustics will be back in Cardiff for the 2017 VELOTHON Wales. Combining a closed road sportive alongside a UCI sanctioned professional race, the 2017 VELOTHON Wales promises to deliver a truly spectacular cycling event. The completely closed road cycling race takes in some of Wales’ most breath taking scenery and starts and ends in the very heart of the capital city. This week we are preparing to tee off once again at the Celtic manor in Newport for the Celebrity Cup! The star-studded golfing event returns for it's fifth year and this time sees the likes of Rob Brydon, Gareth Bale, Ronan Keating, Jonathan Davies, Thom Evans, Max Evans, Keith Duffy, Brian McFadden, Ben Shephard and Bradley Walsh try to get a hole-in-one. In 2016, the crowds were treated to a thrilling finish as Team Scotland regained the trophy in a nail-biting nearest the pin shoot-out against Ireland after the final ended in a tied match. The HSBC Sevens World Series tour touches down in London this weekend for the Rugby 7’s Finals. Twickenham Stadium will host a vibrant festival of rugby as fans from around the World congregate at the Home of English Rugby to witness the biggest names in action. This year’s season finale promises to be a Food & Rugby Extravaganza with over 40 food trucks and stalls selling delicious gourmet street food from across the globe all weekend! We will be in the West Fan Village with our EAW 730 PA system providing sound support for the live music, interviews with players and on-stage games!

This weekend we will be heading back to the St. James’ Park in Newcastle for the Dacia Magic Weekend. This is the only chance Rugby League fans have to witness all of the Betfred Super League’s biggest derby matches over one weekend at one venue. As usual we will be supplying our microphones, Logic Systems CM12 monitors, Allen & Heath QU24 and engineers to provide sound reinforcement for the band-in-the-stand and the VIP lounge.
