We were delighted to return to Cardiff’s Civic Centre this weekend for Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend. This year was Pride Cymru’s 20th anniversary and we celebrated in style!
Headlining the main stage this year were Texas, Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, Samantha Mumba, Bang Bang Romeo (Fresh from their tour with P!nk), Donna Marie as Lady Gaga, and a DJ set from Gok Wan.
We supplied our EAW KF740 system for the Main Stage PA on the City Hall lawn. EAW MicroWedge 15’s for stage monitors and our Sennheiser In-Ear Monitoring system with Midas Pro series desks at Front of House and monitor position.
We also supplied PA systems and engineers for the Cabaret Stage, Dance Tent (which became the community stage on Sunday), and two new venues – The Glee Stage and the Wales Deaf LGBTQIA+ Pride marquee. Between 1pm and 3pm the Glee Stage also became a cinema, showcasing the shortlisted films for this year’s Iris Prize.
