We had the honour of providing sound support for the very first Wales Folk Awards. The inaugural event took place at the BBC Hoddinot Hall and saw the stars of Welsh Folk come out to celebrate their vibrant scene, and to congratulate the winners. The night included performances by Trials of Cato, VRi, Gwilym Bowen Rhys, and Calan.
We provided our brand new Coda TiRay PA system, EAW Microwedge 10’s, DPA microphones for the presenters, Allen & Heath GLD, and two of ABacoustics finest engineers!
Thanks to the lovely BBC Wales crew for looking after us, and congratulations to all the well-deserved winners!
